The latest research from the National Landlords Association (NLA) shows that for the first time the largest lettings group is now families.  48% of properties are now let to families with children overtaking young couples (47%).  Four years ago the largest lettings group was young singles at 53%.  Richard Lambert, CEO of the NLA says “There is a genuine contrast between the experience of renting in the 21^st Century shown in this research and the prevailing housing culture in Britain that only views it as a stopgap – something to be tolerated while waiting for the opportunity to buy your own house.”
